The Hôtel Résidence des Arts is at 14 rue Gît-le-Cœur, in the 6th arrondissement, about 100 m from place Saint-Michel. It is on the Latin Quarter side of the 6th, and the stations show it: Saint-Michel Notre-Dame is a minute on foot, though its line 4 stop is closed until 19 December 2026 (the RER B and C still stop there); Odéon (lines 4 and 10) is three minutes, Cluny–La Sorbonne (line 10) five.

Atout France classified it three stars on 1 February 2023, for 11 rooms. The hotel has recently joined the group Les Hôtels Saint-Louis, which lists it among its latest acquisitions. It shares its reception with a four-star of the same group, the Villa d’Estrées, which stands opposite at number 17: the front desk, open round the clock, is there, not here. Arrivals should know that before looking for a lobby.

Rooms and services

The hotel counts eleven rooms and suites, recently renovated. At the top end, a Junior Suite takes up to four people, and the Prestige Suite under the roof, 55 to 60 m², is an apartment for up to six, with a kitchenette. Rooms have a Nespresso machine, a TV, a telephone and a safe; air conditioning is not mentioned. Pets are accepted, with a nightly charge. A buffet breakfast is served on the ground floor, and there is no restaurant or bar. A private shuttle can be booked for a fee, and there is no car park. Hôtel Résidence des Arts states that it is not accessible to guests with reduced mobility. For couples, it offers a “Love Package” of champagne, roses and macarons.

Against the neighbours
