We kept every hotel of our Latin Quarter base that sits three minutes or less from Odéon metro station, according to the walking times in our data: fourteen of the 110. Odéon is not in the Latin Quarter proper, but on its 6th-arrondissement edge, and the people who search for it want this edge. The list is ordered by walking time, then by stars, so the Relais Saint-Germain, a minute from the station, comes first.
Stars come from Atout France, the national tourism agency, as published on 4 October 2026, with the date of each decision. We checked that every hotel was open on its own website, we quote no rates, and nobody pays to be here. The price band on each card (€ to €€€) is estimated from the category.
What the area is like
The Odéon crossroads joins the boulevard Saint-Germain, rue de l’Odéon and rue de l’Ancienne-Comédie. According to Wikipedia, rue de l’Odéon was cut in 1779 on the site of the Condé mansion and was one of the first French streets with pavements. Rue Dauphine, rue Saint-André-des-Arts and rue Casimir-Delavigne each have hotels from this list.
The station serves lines 4 and 10; Cluny-La Sorbonne (line 10) and Saint-Michel Notre-Dame (RER B and C; line 4 is closed there until 19 December 2026) are both within a few minutes. For hotels closer to the fountain, see our list of hotels near Saint-Michel; for the garden to the south, hotels near the Luxembourg gardens.
