A lane between Buci and Saint-Michel
The Hôtel Saint-André des Arts is at 66 rue Saint-André-des-Arts, on the stretch that runs towards the Buci crossroads, about 350 metres in a straight line from Place Saint-Michel. It is in the 6th arrondissement, on the border between the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain. Odéon (lines 4 and 10) is three minutes’ walk, Mabillon (line 10) four, and Saint-Michel Notre-Dame (RER B and C; line 4 is closed there until 19 December 2026) five. Atout France, the state body that issues French hotel stars, classified it four stars on 18 June 2026, for 30 rooms.
It belongs to the collection Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche, the same group as the Hôtel Les Dames du Panthéon.
Design, bar and rooms
The look is recent: the interior architect Chloé Nègre redesigned the whole house, with furniture made to measure, vintage accents, Gubi and Artemide lights, curtains by Pierre Frey and Lelièvre fabrics. The bar plays the 1970s, with a black marble counter, armchairs in Lelièvre cloth and walnut-burr tables. Room service runs from noon to 11:30 pm; there is no restaurant.
Air conditioning is individual. Family rooms, in Superior, Deluxe and Prestige grades, pair two rooms by a lobby or a connecting door for two to five people. The “Bulles et Soins POP” space offers a private whirlpool bath for an hour, and treatments are extra. On access, the hotel is explicit: some rooms suit visual or hearing impairments, but it states that it cannot welcome wheelchair users. Pets are not mentioned.

With 30 rooms against 109, it is the smaller of the two four-stars named here. See also our guide to the hotels around Odéon.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the Hôtel Saint-André des Arts?
At 66 rue Saint-André-des-Arts, in the 6th arrondissement, on the Buci crossroads side. It stands on the border between the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain: Odéon is three minutes’ walk, Mabillon four, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame five.
Does the Hôtel Saint-André des Arts have a restaurant or bar?
A bar in 1970s style with wines, spirits, champagne and small plates, but no restaurant. Room service runs from noon to 11:30 pm.
Does it have a spa?
The wellness space, “Bulles et Soins POP”, is a whirlpool bath that guests book privately for an hour, with massages and Absolution treatments at extra cost. It is not a spa in the sense of a pool and treatment floor.
Is it suitable for families?
Yes, by size: Superior, Deluxe and Prestige family rooms take two to five people, as two rooms linked by a lobby or a connecting door, and a quadruple room exists.
What is our verdict on the Saint-André des Arts?
On checked facts: the redesign, the bar, the family rooms and the location weigh for it; the missing restaurant and car park, and the stated lack of wheelchair access, weigh against it.
