The Hôtel Villa d’Estrées is at 17 rue Gît-le-Cœur, in the 6th arrondissement, about 100 m from place Saint-Michel. Saint-Michel Notre-Dame (RER B and RER C; line 4 is closed there until 19 December 2026) is a minute away, Odéon (lines 4 and 10) four, Cluny–La Sorbonne (line 10) five.

Atout France classified it four stars on 17 July 2023, for ten rooms. It recently joined Les Hôtels Saint-Louis, a collection of boutique hotels in Paris that says it has existed since 1998; the date of the move is not stated. Its neighbour opposite, the Résidence des Arts, belongs to the same group. The two work as a pair: the Villa d’Estrées has the 24-hour reception for both, and the Résidence des Arts serves breakfast to both.

Rooms and services

The ten rooms were recently renovated, according to the hotel, in a style the group describes with mouldings, soft colours and refined furniture. What sets them apart is the kitchen corner, with a microwave, a Nespresso machine and a minibar. The Quadruple rooms measure 30 to 35 m², with two king-size beds, and are presented for small families. Pets are welcome, with a nightly charge. Breakfast is a buffet in the Résidence des Arts opposite, free for children under 12, according to the hotel. A private shuttle can be booked for a fee. There is no bar or restaurant, air conditioning is not mentioned, and the hotel states that it is not accessible to guests with reduced mobility.

Against the neighbours

The Résidence des Arts has eleven rooms and a six-person suite. The Relais Hôtel du Vieux Paris, four stars with 19 rooms, is at number 9 on the same street. On rue Saint-André-des-Arts, the Saint-André des Arts is a four-star of 30 rooms. With ten rooms, the Villa d’Estrées is smaller than all three. The block is described in hotels near Odéon.
