The Hôtel Henri IV Rive Gauche stands at 9-11 rue Saint-Jacques, on the eastern side of the street, facing the church of Saint-Séverin; the data uses rue Saint-Jacques as the boundary with the Saint-Michel sub-district. Atout France classified it three stars on 18 July 2022, for 23 rooms. Saint-Michel Notre-Dame (RER B and C; its line 4 platforms are closed until 19 December 2026) and Cluny–La Sorbonne (line 10) are three minutes away, Maubert-Mutualité four.

The hotel belongs to Les Hôtels Victoria, a family group founded in Paris in 2006 with four addresses. The group says that the hotel occupies a 17th-century house; we found no heritage record to confirm the date, so it stays the group’s claim. Rooms and practical details

Air conditioning is in every room. One room is adapted for reduced mobility, 23 m², with a 150 x 190 bed and a walk-in shower. Four triple rooms are sold as family rooms, and cots and a high chair can be requested. Some rooms look onto Saint-Séverin or over the roofs; others face a courtyard.

Breakfast is an organic buffet, with a quicker option and an afternoon snack in the lounge. There is no bar and no restaurant. Pets are refused. The hotel has no car park, and the two public ones it cites are Saemes Lagrange-Maubert and Indigo Saint-Michel. On sustainability, it commits to no single-use plastic and says its team signed a charter.
