A cul-de-sac by the Luxembourg garden

The hotel is at 5 impasse Royer-Collard, a short dead-end street on the 5th-arrondissement side of the Jardin du Luxembourg, about 100 metres from its gates. Rue Soufflot is about three minutes away, the Sorbonne and the Panthéon about six. Atout France — the body that grants France’s official hotel stars — classified it four stars on 27 July 2026, for 19 rooms.

It is independent. The website stresses location: Luxembourg station, on the RER B, is 100 metres away.

Nineteen rooms, a bar and an apartment

The rooms follow a plant theme, which the hotel extends to its bar lounge. They have reversible air conditioning and look onto an inner courtyard, though guests are not said to have access to it. One room is adapted for guests with reduced mobility. On the top floor, the attic Superior rooms overlook the rooftops, and the hotel says the Eiffel Tower can be glimpsed from them.

Families have two options: a two-bedroom suite for four, or the Parisian Apartment — 45 m² for up to five, with its own entrance and high ceilings, carved out of a former shop on the ground floor. There is no restaurant. Breakfast, organic according to the hotel, is served until 10.45 a.m., in the breakfast room or in the room, and the bar lounge serves wine, champagne, spirits, craft beer and cocktails.

Neighbours in the same category

Several other four-stars lie within four minutes on foot, with different trade-offs. The Hôtel Les Rives Oceanik, three minutes away on rue Gay-Lussac, has a family suite and breakfast in the room at no charge but no bar. The Hôtel Les Dames du Panthéon, four minutes away on the place du Panthéon, has its own bar under a glass roof and rooms facing the monument. Hôtel Le Petit Paris on rue Saint-Jacques, two minutes away, and the Hôtel Observatoire Luxembourg on boulevard Saint-Michel, four minutes away, are also close; Observatoire’s Le Luco is the only restaurant among the four.

One category down, the three-star Hôtel Elysa, a minute away on rue Gay-Lussac, has 32 rooms, and the Hôtel Madeleine de Senlis on rue Malebranche, three minutes away, has a pool.
