Our Latin Quarter base labels each hotel with a boutique tag when it is small and its own site states a clear decor, theme or designer. In the 5th arrondissement, 31 hotels carry the tag. We kept the 15 with 30 rooms or fewer and three or four stars, as listed by Atout France, the national tourism agency, on 4 October 2026. The list is ordered by number of rooms, from the smallest house, 10 rooms, to the largest, 30. Small hotels without the tag, such as the Korner Sorbonne (21 rooms), are outside it.
Each hotel was open on its own website when we checked. We quote no rates. The price bands (€€ and €€€) are estimated from the category. Ratings are those of the register; there are no guest scores here.
Where they are

Access. Les Rives de Notre Dame, Notre Dame Saint-Michel, Residence Henri IV and Le Lapin Blanc say they are not accessible to reduced mobility; Quartier Latin and Madeleine de Senlis say they have no room for it. Les Jardins du Luxembourg, Le Petit Paris, Le Relais Saint Jacques, Monge, Des Carmes and Des Grands Hommes mention an adapted room.
Frequently asked questions
What is a boutique hotel in the 5th arrondissement?
We use the word for a small hotel, 30 rooms or fewer in this list, with a clear decor or theme stated on its own site. It is not an Atout France category: the register only gives stars.
How many boutique hotels does the 5th arrondissement have?
Our data tags 31 hotels of the 5th as boutique. We kept the 15 that are rated three or four stars and have 30 rooms or fewer. The ones left out are larger, or rated one or two stars, such as the Familia.
Are there boutique hotels near the Panthéon?
Yes. The Grands Hommes faces the columns of the Panthéon and the Relais Saint Jacques has balconies on its side. Les Dames du Panthéon, a four-star of 35 rooms, is just above our size limit and so outside this list.
Which boutique hotels have a spa?
Residence Henri IV and Des Carmes have a hammam, Monge a hammam free for guests, and the Madeleine de Senlis a pool. The Five has a private jacuzzi, not a spa.
Are these hotels good for families?
Several take four or more: Le Petit Paris, the Five (a 50 m² apartment), the Relais Saint Jacques (a family room up to six), Residence Henri IV and Le Lapin Blanc (up to five). Families of three are also catered for at Garance.
